Delete Your Account

You can delete your BizoraPOS account at any time — directly from the app or by contacting us. This page explains the process, what gets deleted, and what data we are legally required to retain.

This action is permanent

Once your account is deleted, you cannot recover your data. Export your sales history and inventory before requesting deletion. You can export data from Settings → Data → Export.

Option 1 — Delete from the app

Open BizoraPOS

Launch the BizoraPOS app on your Android or iOS device.

Go to Settings

Tap Settings from the bottom navigation bar, then tap Account.

Select “Delete Account”

Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm your password and acknowledge that this action is irreversible.

Confirm deletion

Confirm the deletion. Your account will be scheduled for removal. You will receive an email confirmation once the process is complete (within 90 days).

Option 2 — Request via email

If you cannot access the app, send us a deletion request by email. We process all requests within 30 days and confirm once complete.

Or email us directly at privacy@bizorapos.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request” and your registered email address.

What gets deleted

The following data is permanently removed from our servers within 90 days of your deletion request:

Your account profile (name, email, phone number)
Business information and settings
Synced inventory, products, and categories
Customer records synced to our servers
Employee records synced to our servers
Subscription and payment method details
Device registration and session tokens
Usage analytics tied to your account

Local data on your device

Data stored only on your device (when sync is disabled) is not on our servers and is not affected by this request. To remove it, uninstall the app or clear the app's data from your device settings.

What we are required to retain

Certain data must be retained to comply with tax, accounting, and financial regulations — even after your account is deleted:

Transaction records (sales, payments)

Required for tax compliance — retained for up to 7 years

Payment transaction IDs

Required by payment processors (MTN MoMo, Airtel Money) for dispute resolution

Anonymized usage statistics

Aggregated, non-identifiable data used for product improvement

Audit logs referencing your account

Retained for fraud prevention and legal compliance
